Old Peterites Dominates the Annual “Joe-Pete” Golf Encounter

The highly anticipated annual “Joe-Pete” golf encounter took place at the prestigious Royal Colombo Golf Club on the 21st of May, showcasing some exceptional talent from two renowned educational institutions, St. Joseph’s College and St. Peter’s College. With the golf tournament following the stableford format, it was a day filled with fierce competition and impressive performances.

Shanik Desilva was the pick of the day for St. Joseph’s College, amassing a score of 46 stable ford points.On the opposing team, Asanka Sahabandu demonstrated his golfing prowess for St. Peter’s College, securing an impressive score of 45 stable ford points.

However, it was St. Peter’s College that emerged victorious, clinching the title with a commanding 36-point margin. The team’s collective efforts and consistent performances were instrumental in their triumph. The players showcased great synergy and determination, enabling them to outshine their opponents in this highly anticipated encounter.
